Real Media Player

The RealNetworks® Media Player built-in to WebTV receivers supports the playback of RealAudio content.  Playback of RealVideo content is not supported.  Video content is only supported with Windows Media Player.

Audio Codecs Supported:

• RealAudio 2.0
• RealAudio 3.0
• RealAudio 4.0
• RealAudio 5.0
• RealAudio G2 (SureStream not supported)

Streaming Protocols

For RealAudio, our receivers support streaming with UDP, TCP/IP, and PNP protocols.  NOTE: HTTP streaming is not supported for RealAudio streams.
